When Believers Leap…

The moment comes in EVERY believer’s journey, when their faith requires more than prayer—it requires MOVEMENT.

A leap.

Faith WORKING is MOVEMENT in and on the Word that God has spoken.

James says that:

“…faith that doesn’t involve action is phony.”

‭‭James (Jacob)‬ ‭2‬:‭17‬ ‭TPT‬‬

So then, the muscle of faith is the believer’s movement! No movement is an indication I don’t have REAL faith!

We don’t move when every question has been answered.

We don’t move when every resource has arrived.

We don’t move when fear has disappeared.

We move when God has spoken!

The believer MUST leap when God says jump, and he must move when God says move!

As I reflect on the many blessings that have been poured out in my life, I realize they didn’t begin with certainty. They actually began with obedience. They began with taking an initial leap into the unknown. My movement in those seasons and times requires me to trust in the God who called me to sustain me.

Peter stepped out of the boat when Jesus called him.

Abraham left everything familiar to move where God told him to move.

Joshua stepped into the Jordan BEFORE the waters parted.

The miracle was never waiting on the shore.

It met each one of them as they MOVED in obedience to what God said.

Sometimes we are waiting for confidence before we move. We may be waiting for a sign or a confirmation that it’s truly God sending us into the unknown. Scripture continually reminds us in story after story, that courage begins to grow AFTER we’ve started walking. The wonder of God shows up after men and women with faith begin MOVING.

Remember. Moses did not part the Red Sea until he and the Israelites walked right up to it. They MOVED TO what was first an incredibly large body of water they could not get around or through…before it was miraculously split for them to walk through.

Perhaps today God is asking you to write the book.

Start the business.

Teach the class.

Apply for the opportunity.

Forgive.

Serve.

Love again…

Or simply take the LEAP…

Whatever your leap may be, remember this:

You. Do. Not. Leap. Alone. ❤️

The God who called you goes before you, walks beside you, and remains faithful behind you. Your leap is not into the unknown—it is into the hands of the One who already knows the end from the beginning.

So today, if your heart is trembling but your spirit KNOWS He is calling…

Leap.

Not because you are certain.

Because HE is.

✨ ““for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

It is my hearts desire, my prayer that this encouraged you to LEAP today. Leap without fear that you will fall or fail. 🙏🏾

Is God asking you to LEAP? What is He calling or inviting you to LEAP or MOVE into by faith?

Let’s encourage one another in the comments. ❤️
