I'm Living What I Am Sharing.
I'm Jantina, creator of the Teaching By Faith Podcast & Blog. My living journals have become conversational devotionals for moms shared here; Conversations w/ ABBA, and Letters to the Kingdom Building Momma. I am wife, homeschooler of 4 of our 8, and the teacher/creative behind Mrs. Masters Class & Learning By Faith Printables.
This blog has been blooming since 2013, when I first began the journey of homeschooling my sons. After teaching K-12 music for 20+ years, God brought me home to teach my own. The journey has been challenging, but beautiful. He has taught me more about his love, He has healed me, stretched me and grown me on this road. My stories are blooming here.

My prayer is that you find support from other moms who are walking beside you, and with you in our online community. This blog started because that was my desire.

Welcome Mommas
Hello Mommas💕. Welcome to Teaching by Faith©.
This is a sacred space for moms in every season of motherhood to connect
read, pray, and grow, in deeper conversations, worship and intimacy with God.
Come into a gentle space where moms can encounter
the light of Jesus through prayer and community,
and can discover faith-filled resources for personal devotion,
as well as teach and share with their children.
What began as a blog about motherhood over a decade ago,
moved in and out of many journals,
became a vlog, grew into online devotions, a podcast,
and finally became the journey unfolding here.
I am not perfect, and I am no longer trying to be.
That is my deliverance. That's the space I'm growing and healing through.
I am hosting this space as a wife and mother that does not have every answer...
but I can help point to the One who does...Jesus.
As I am still growing and learning,
I invite you to this space to be encouraged,
to pray, to seek, to worship, to heal,
to stretch, to grow in your own faith,
and to build what God placed in your hands,
in the season you're in.
Here, we are learning to ABIDE with the ONE who created us to do this beautiful work.

Journal Through the Journey
This, is no ordinary blog, and Teaching by Faith is not just another podcast. Here, I invite you to come alongside others who are sharing their heartfelt prayers and inner thoughts through written words. From the seasoned scribe to the one who may be knew to journaling, there is a space for each and every thought, word study, scripture reflection, and whatever else the Lord places on your heart. My most difficult seasons as a mom became the greatest lessons from my Heavenly Father. My unexpected moments of devotion happen often when I take a pen to my journal, or I begin to type out a simple thought in my phone notes. It becomes a letter, a prayer, or an entire bible study. Many of my devotions freed me, and my letters released me...I pray that they will in turn free and release the mommas who read them. Read them...

I create conversational devotionals and journals as I live them. Journaling and writing out my prayers, my time of studying God's Word and prayers has become a library of books and devos I am finally unafraid to share.
For years, I felt the pull from God to begin to release what I'd written, but I was too afraid. I didn't feel confident that it was good enough, or that I could present it well enough. What you see here is my obedience to share it without fear for the mommas who need it.

As an educator and homeschooling mom of four of our eight children, I continue to create what we are living as we learn. God has given me such a deep passion, and great vision for aligning faith with learning about God's world, and discovering His love and purpose for our lives, and the lives of our children.
